Preparing for Travel
Travelling at the moment can be quite confusing. Here is some important information that can help.
Border Information
As of Nov 1, fully vaccinated Aussies departing from NSW and VIC can travel internationally without an exemption.
Vaccinations
Aussie citizens or permanent residents 12 and over must have two doses of a recognised vaccine to travel without exemption.
Certification
Show airline staff your International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (ICVC). Apply for the certificate for free via MyGov.
Passport Validity
To travel internationally, many countries require your passport to have at least six months’ validity from your return date.
